The children for both homes are taken in by the following criteria.

• Children referred by the Social and Welfare Department

• Children who are orphaned or who come from needy background whose family is who unable to school and fend them

• Children whose parents are in prison/rehab centre for crime or drug addiction

• Abused children

• Children referred by other organizations based on individual merit.
