About Us

Rumah Kebajikan Anbu Illam is a home for the underprivileged boys registered with Jabatan Kebajikan Masyarakat and was formed in year 1987 in Kuala Kubu Bharu by Persatuan Saiva Siddhanta, an association which is aggressively involved in aiding people from the underprivileged community. The home was later transferred to the present premise in December 1988 to provide better facilities for the children.

The home which started of with 5 childrens presently has close to 30 boys. Over the years Rumah Kebajikan Anbu Illam has fostered close to 500 boys.

Staffing

The home has two full time wardens, a cook and an administrator administrator and a cook. The home is managed by a management committee comprising dedicated volunteers who are members from Persatuan Saiva Siddhanta Malaysia.

Funding

It costs approximately RM120, 000 per annum to run Rumah Kebajikan Anbu Illam. The bulk of funds are from public donations and well wishers.
